It's difficult for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The top summits have already been conquered.

This is the unit that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus another six T20 titles, and once went nearly four years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, targeted by the record chasers, are what's still available for a squad that has achieved everything.

That it took up to Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a compliment to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

It is hard for their hitters to maintain a record if not provided the possibility.

Many contend the reasoning behind the pressure of a final. Different voices suggest with the test that comes when pursuing an unprecedented total and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What's definite is this ton was considerably tougher to anticipate.

These statements will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this tournament want to hear.

During the last week a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this triumph succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.
